What does the name Acrid Semblance really mean?

Acrid: Adjective

1. Strong and Sharp
2. harsh or corrosive in tone

Semblance: Noun

1. An erroneous mental representation
2. Outward or token appearance or form

And it means just that, forms we see when our mind is coloured with acrid information forcing us to see things in light that is presented and the truth is eluded.  

Who named the band?

Anubhav named the band after a few names such as Desecrator and Atrocity were found to be already taken.
